I'm a devoted Christian and I can relate to the fact that we sometimes conquer struggles in our life by looking through the bible and letting God's ever faithful promises wash over us. I'm glad someone tried to classify her experience for those struggling in life, to share her failures and help others find faith from hers.

I've attempted to read the Bible a few times over the years but haven't been able to stick with it. I was trying to read it for its historical significance since I'm not Christian. Perhaps reading this along with the Bible will help me to accomplish it.

It's true that the Bible has been a source of encouragement, comfort and confirmation to me and it's my favorite book of all. Many of us has departed from GOD, some has poor relationships with HIM due to struggles and worries of life. Thanks for the review.

Religious people always try to find a book or scriptures that fulfills their thirst for a spiritual journey and achieve enlightenment sometimes it becomes easy to achieve their spiritual pursuits and sometimes it becomes out of their reach.

Susan Butler was drawn to church activities at prestwood Baptist, where she has been a member for over thirty years, participating in Bible fellowship, women's Bible study, choir and various volunteer opportunities. Coming from this background Susan developed a sound spiritual experience that she wanted to share with the other people and the result is First Fruits.

In order to live a holy or Biblical life and to have a conversation with the Almighty God, Susan Butler has written a 365-day devotional book and to make this book a real spiritual experience she has a collection of 365 holy scriptures with wise quotes.

I'm not interested in reading it. I just don't find this genre interesting. But the review shows that the book is nice. So congratulations on BOTD.

Thanks for a great review. It's very detailed and tells a lot of what you can expect from this book. This daily Christian devotional book is ideal. I like that the book features what she heard God speak to her in it. I like that it's easy and helpful.

An interesting idea for a book. I did not see something like this before. I think its worth reading firstly just for its originality. The author seems to do a good job creating a more aproachable relation between God and human beings.

I love reading the Bible. Books that explain the Bible not so much. I love how youve describes this writing as good, brief and straight to the point though. I might even try and read it to understand it better. Good review.

This book sounds wonderful, not to mention helpful, but I just don't think that I'd be able to stick with it and read it every day; I already have some mobile Bible apps that I love, and I don't even keep up with them. I also think that the lessons veering off subject would bother me. I'm glad you were able to power through it in a lot less time than a year, though!

I don't think I'll be reading this one. If I wanted a stronger spiritual life, I would go for devotional books written by Catholic Christians. I would also be reading the Bible myself. Nicely written review, though.

I appreciate the fact that the author has undertaken this concept and broken important elements of the Bible into understandable chunks. Your review was very detailed, I liked how you perceived the elements from the book.

It sounds like a good book for people who like these kinds of books. I just always felt a person should finds their own meaning and reasoning in scripture. It changes with time, places, and people.
