Reading this review just got me thinking. Husband goals should be to get your wife to write about you...positively. Congrats to the husband.

This right here is a loving, intelligent wife. Of what use is honoring a person at their funeral? All we need is love

What an interesting and inspiring account of a woman's husband, his advocacy for education and his other achievements. A man who learned from his grandfather's resiliency after the family lost everything in a Ku Klux Klan raid in the 20s. Thank you for the review.

Today's BOTD is truly an amazing gift from the author to her wonderful husband, letting him know how much he is loved, cherished, and valued! Being that so many individuals participated in making this this book what it is, he really must be someone special. ❤ I love that she wrote this now, rather than later in life, as many books are written after the lives of loved ones have ended. I have added this to my WTR list. Congrats to the author (and to Earle)! Thank you so much for your review; it was awesome! :-)

I admire the dedication of this wife to honor her husband's legacy. Doesn't look like my kind of book but I applaud her labor of love.

This is not really a book I would be interested in reading but I do admire the authors love and appreciation for her husband. The author wrote a series of essays detailing her husband's life. Congrats on the book of the day! Great review.

I enjoy reading biographies, and I am grateful for the recommendation. Thanks a lot for the amazing review. I am delighted by the fact that the reputation of Earle is known by many people. It means a lot for the credibility of the book.

Earle sounds like quite an admirable character and it is a wonderful testimony to him that his wife has chosen to write this. This is not the kind of book I’d be interested in reading, but thank you for sharing your comments.

This book is such an inspiration. The author took a leap of faith by writing a book honouring her husband while he is still still alive and to mention that alot of work was put in making of this book by including people around their life, for a young reader like me Linda Eatmon-Jones's works gives me hope on finding true love in this world.....Touchstone is a must read

I think it's interesting that so many people honored Earle while he was still alive because most people I know don't get honored until after they're already dead. I wish more people could learn from the perspectives of this book and honor people they love when those people are still alive. Thanks!

This sounds like a lovely biography of a all out wonderful/great guy. He follows his grandparents beliefs and how to treat others. He seems like a kind gentle soul who loves God and wants to do right with him while following his grandparents beliefs and code of ethics. This wife wants to share with the world how wonderful her husband is. This sounds like a wholesome read.
I love the concept and story of the book, but it honestly doesn't interest me to read.

I have never read something like this. I think it's so sweet that the author wrote this to celebrate her husband, and overall the book sounds inspiring and something worthy to read. Thank you for the thorough review.

The author, Earl's wife, writes the story of his life and works while he is still living. A book of essays (or a biography), running through the life and times of a Godly man who learned many life lessons from his grandfather while growing up. The praise and respect Mrs. Jones has for her husband is proud and endearing.

Sounds like an intriguing read.
And the author was right about this "your thoughts create beliefs, beliefs create attitudes, attitudes create behaviors, and behaviors create results." I could relate to this. I yearn to read this book.
Great review you've got here!!
well done.
