Sounds like the author has produced an excellent book on fitness, diet and general health. It sounds a bit too vigorous for me, however, so I might give it a miss. Thank you for an excellent review!

This book seems very well written. I am glad you mentioned that isn't for people who are looking for an easy way to wellness. So many books on health and wellness promise quick results. It takes time to change bad habits and live a healthy life. Thank you for the thorough review!

prospero360 points out the difficulty of bringing something new in a market that is overflowing with information about how to get fit, healthy, lose weight a.s.o. Even so, the reviewer finds the strong points to be found in the book, be it the accessible writing style, the humor, and the case studies.
The reviewer also identifies a target readership and he also warns those who are looking for miracle solutions to stay away from it.

I have always been interested in keeping myself relatively fit and healthy, so this book sounds interesting. It will be interesting to read what he says about exercise machines in gyms, as they apparently damaged me over the years that I used them. I think the lack of pictures for exercises could be a problem but the reviewer states that the authors descriptions are so good that this is not a problem. An authoritative and good review.

A book full of solid information regarding health and fitness. It is really easy to get confused with all of the contradictions and methods floating around on the internet. I love that the author breaks it down so that it’s easy to understand. Thanks for the review!

There is so much conflicting information out there regarding health and fitness. Based upon this review, it sounds like this book addresses some of the conflicting information and gives us reasons why programs are healthy or not. It is one I'd like to check out!

With so much contradicting information when it comes to health and fitness, it's nice to see a book that debunks the myths. Nice review!

This sounds like an informative and somewhat humorous book (what with the cartoons/illustrations scattered through it and the personal anecdotes the author throws in). Guides to health and fitness like this are of benefit to me as I have a chronic genetic condition that can only be controlled through strength training and diet. Thanks for choosing to review this book.

Thank you for the review. I like the idea of fact based health and fitness and not myth based. I was recently talking about this with a friend, so I need to read this so that I can recommend it to her as well.

It sounds like the author did a considerable amount of research for this book in addition to using personal experience and training. A book that clears up the contradictory information out there will be very useful. Thanks for the informative review!
