This sounds like an intriguing book about navigating the world of healthcare. I like how the author shares her personal experience, including her childhood. I think this would be a valuable read for anyone - sooner rather than later as we will all have to make medical decisions some time in our lives. Thanks for the detailed review.

:tiphat: An exceptionally brilliant review indeed. I had to read the review over three times just to keep those dopamine levels up. The key concepts of the book were touched in this review. I tilt my hat to you for such an amazing review. Thank you for sharing.

I like how this book encourages patients to be their own advocate in terms of how they approach their health care. I’m not sure it’s a book for me today, but I’ll read the sample.

The review seems quite informative regarding healthcare buisness and seems to deal a lot with health and wellness. Along with the 4 out of 4 stars, this book must be a remarkable one. I can't wait to read. Thanks for the review.

It is wonderful to know that there is a doctor who truly cares about the well-being of their patients and provides ample medical information. Congrats on BOTD!

Informative review. It's really important for everyone to stay well informed of the options available when it comes to medical treatments. I could also relate with the difference in price of medicine charged by online and offline vendors.

How she faced cancer draws me in. My mom currently has cancer and my dad also had to deal with it last year or so. Since then I have learned more about cancer and healthcare, wonder if would be reflected within the book. I would definitely say this is a book I would like to read if I can find a copy of it.

Well, this was an easy one for me. I downloaded the book as soon as I finished reading the review. I'm just dipping my toes into the world of Medicare, so I'm very much interested in picking up some tips that will help me out as my hair gets grayer. I've read the first few chapters and they are fabulous! Congratulations on having this important work published and on receiving BOTD honors.

I like that the book covers a lot of subjects relating to the life of a cancer patient, not only how to deal with the disease. Congrats!
