I have read the sample of this book. I couldn't put it down. I think he is on to some good perspectives associated with how the world is today. Good quality people lack people skills and some that don't have a degree can actually have more intellect than some outdated degrees as the world in learning any skills is more available also updated changes in a daily life situation with the change of the internet and more access to more knowledge that can be found learning all aspects of what you searching for is knowledge in fields of interest. People skills that are spoken of rely upon confidence also which people lack to being isolated and a quick fix as he said in memorizing a skill only to that level.

"The Smartest Person in the Room" by Christian Espinosa seems to be an interesting book on people skill. I will read to know more about what Espinosa described as Secure Methodology.

The Smartest Person seems like a textbook with the amount of code and computer programs it has, but the author created a new training called Secure Methodology.

Definitely not my cup of tea, way too technical for my artistic mind. I specialize in visual arts and I am afraid any advanced technology is beyond my capability to understand and appreciate fully. Thereby, I will have to skip this book, but congratulations with BOTD, anyway!

I hope Doug was just a made-up employee who is used to simply make a point. As informative as this book seems, I think I'll skip it as I'm not currently reading self-help books. I hope it reaches the right audience. Congrats on the BOTD.

People skill is a very major criterion for all humanity on earth. It amazes me though that it is seen as a selective and specific need for people in cybersecurity. I just can't wrap my head around how it would help them stop cyberthieves. Well, maybe if I read the book I might understand why the author requires people in cybersecurity to be more empathetic.

This book is so much more than just an explanation of a big egoed person. This book can be helpful for every person in understanding the minds of others. Cyber security is crucial nowadays and the cause for the insecurity is lack of education. The author is doing a great job.

In the review, the book is describing people skills and/or communication skills that are needed to correct a lot of the IT problems in today's and tomorrow's world. The same needed communication skills are needed in society to correct the human problems. For this reason alone, this book will assist all readers in skills to succeed in business and at home. Thank you for the inclusive ideas brought forth in this review.
