One of the things I hear a lot about religion is that it offers solace to life's harshness. It is interesting to see that Victoria's pain was caused by one religion and quelled by another. It is unfortunate everything she had to go through just because of her religion and especially at a young age. Sounds like a great read. Thanks for a lovely review!

This sounds like an incredibly profound story. Victoria's life is challenging both at school and home. The arranged wedding and country's inability complicates things. This is a book I am cautiously intrigued about. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Unfortunately, for several reasons this whole book series is definitely not the one for me. I don't have any interest in religious literature, try to avoid non-fiction whenever I can and have no business in events taking place while at missionary work. Congrats on BOTD still in order through!

Growing up as a Christian in a Muslim country can be challenging. Many of us don't realize how privileged we are, free to believe whatever suits us. In addition to providing a good introduction to Pakistani culture, this book makes a point about how not everyone can be a Christian. This review was great. That was great!

Victoria's story is heartbreaking and inspiring as she tells of her experiences as a Christian growing up in a predominantly Muslim society. The insight into Pakistani culture is a great bonus as it gives the reader a glimpse of Victoria's environment. Thank you for your well-written review.

I know that it is a true story and the hero of this story is Victoria. But we must agree that the Islamic religion and the Christian religion are divine religions that forbid rape, bullying and hatred. The Islamic religion is not like that. Whoever does this is not from the Islamic religion and the Islamic religion does not know this

This is one dilemma I often pose to brethren, Whatever your faith are you devout by choice or is it because you were born into a family of that faith. It takes courage to choose and stick to whatever faith you choose especially knowing that converting will make you an outcast. I recommend this for reading.

I like that the author has included many aspects of Pakistani culture in the book, such as national dishes and even certain words and expressions. Although I am shocked by certain traditions, I think it is commendable that the writer included that side of the story in the book.

The life of a missionary is always a challenge. It takes the strong willed at heart to overcome temptations. Nice book.

I’m not sure how I feel about this story. I might enjoy it, but I’ll have to sample to see.

This work of art makes me feel like wanting to know more about the Pakistani culture. It’s intriguing to see how the author explores religious tension between Muslims and Christians. I'm curious about this book, as it’s based on a true story. Thanks a lot for the review.

How did Victoria survive the challenges life presented her due to her religious belief despite living in a muslim dominated country? I love the book already and i want to read it. Thank you for the review

A story is interesting for me. I like stories about life experiences. Victoria's tough life experience adds to my insight. The reviews are also good. I am interested in reading the book.
