After reading the sample, I can very much relate as I am too the brat of the family. Upon first glance, this isn't something I consider in my usual subject matter but I guess it's true what they say, never judge a book by its cover.

This book seems like one that covers a vast number of critical topics. Happy and sad moments are included and I think those who appreciate honest story-telling would enjoy this.

I like that Sam's mom was loving and his dad a disciplinarian. I would love to know the role of Randy and his friends in this book. Congrats on BOTD

This is a book of the stories of Ismael, known as Pineapple Sam, as he grew up in Hawaii, travelled to the mainland, and joined the Marines. It has an interesting and fun style to the writing.

The Life and Adventures of Pineapple Sam is a captivating collection that brings together the tales and experiences of Sam Tabalno, affectionately known as Pineapple Sam. His adventures span a wide range of experiences, from fishing on the shores of Kauai to hitchhiking across the mainland US and even becoming embroiled in the Vietnam War as a Marine. Through Pineapple Sam’s eyes, you’ll get a taste of life in the Hawaiian Islands—its beauty, challenges, and unique culture. If you’re in the mood for something quirky, out of the ordinary, and extremely entertaining, this anthology is a must-read! 🌴📚✨ .

Fascinating how the author has illuminated their own life through the lens of a book. They're talking a lot about how much they appreciate life. It seems that from the review, there is a charming touch of humor to this message which makes people feel uplifted.

Pineapple Sam seems to be an interesting character and his stint Sam’s at the U.S. Marine Corps is intriguing so I’m looking forward to digging into this book to know and how he addressed the challenges he faced in his life journey.

The nickname Pineapple Sam got me interested in this book. War can be very detrimental to human mental health, but I am glad the author was able to write his memoir with humor. Thanks for the review!

“The Life and Adventures of Pineapple Sam” by Pineapple Sam grew up in Hawaii with a loving mother and a drunkard father who actually quit drinking when he became a believer. This book details many of his adventures with his friends Randy, Wilson and Mando as they tour the U.S. Sam was a U.S. Marine that trained and fought in Vietnam. This tour of duty as a tunnel rat was incredibly hard and he suffered from PTSD. Sam added humor at times to his story and I would like to read the entire story since I grew up during the Vietnam war. This is a very interesting and entertaining story that deserved the 4 out of 4-star rating. I really enjoyed reading the sample that covered Sam’s childhood in Hawaii.

The book chronicles the life and adventures of Sam, a Hawaiian native who dreamed of experiencing life on the mainland of the United States. The author details Sam's life journey, including his decision to join the U.S. Marines. Often, military service leaves individuals with a significant need for psychological support, as PTSD is a prevalent issue among veterans. I believe that soldiers should receive substantial assistance in this regard, along with comprehensive plans to aid their reintegration into civilian life. Engaging them in productive activities can help reduce unnecessary stress.

The book also touches on the government's manipulation of figures to create a misleading impression for the public. Personally, I am skeptical of what is presented in the media, as reality often differs from what is portrayed both by the media and government reports. I enjoyed reading the review and have no doubt that the book is promising and insightful. Thank you for the review, and congratulations to the author on being selected as the Book of the Day.

Thank you for your nice review of "The Life and adventures of Pineapple Sam" by Pineapple Sam. This book is embellished by an array of adventures of Sam’s life. He finds studies boring and is always on the move to make life captivating. One of his experiences is being in the U.S. Marines which was in Viet Nam. Since this book is temporarily free on Kindle Unlimited I decided to put it on my shelf to read. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.
