A relationship is work, with both parties needing to be on the same wavelength. It's great to have a book give tips and guidance, especially if both partners can benefit. Relatable examples are definitely a good tool.

Being in a relationship isn't easy; it calls for effort from both partners. This book is insightful and thought-provoking, emphasizing that maintaining a healthy relationship takes effort on both parties' parts and shouldn't be taken for granted. The importance of giving each other space and time to be themselves and "evolve" was also emphasized. I truly enjoyed this book, and I do suggest it—first to married couples, those in committed relationships, and single people alike—as well as to other people.
Thanks for the review and thanks to the author for the sample..Congrats on BOTD.

As a nature lover who lives in Africa and has a special fondness of the majestic giraffe, which I have seen in the wild on numerous occasions, the front page attracted my attention. The 2x2 in the title made me smile, as 4x4 driving is very popular here. It does not only evoke the animals going into the Ark in pairs, but also the idea of a journey, which can sometimes be hard, as in physical reality and in relations. The Ark being mentioned in the title made the impression of a Christian book, but I am happy that according to the review, it does not exclude readers of other religions or nonbelievers. :techie-reference:

I'm not particularly interested in these types of introspection books, so this one isn't for me. Nevertheless, I'm pleased to congratulate Dr. Giuffra on her achievement and BOTD.

The book cover would not immediately make me think that this is a guidebook about human relationships, but the content can certainly be useful to many people.

In-depth details on how to keep up wholesome relationships are provided by the author. The author makes use of a variety of sources, including science, spirituality, and personal experiences, to illustrate the value of harmony and conceptual understanding in intimate relationships. Wonderful review

It's nice when relationship practices are backed by science, but it doesn't have to be that complicated either. My husband and I have one rule between us that has kept us together for thirty years next year: we are kind to each other. The other one is to work on ourselves so we can learn how to treat each other kindly and with compassion. Without it, one is not in a loving relationship; one is in a hateful relationship. (I've seen those too. They are not pretty.) Great review on this. I am interested to hear what this author has to say about successful relationships, and all her experience is encouraging.

Romance is not a type of genre I enjoy reading. But as the book is an incredible guide and has invaluable information about relationships, I would give this book a try. Congrats to the author on the BOTD.

Really not my cup of tea, mostly due my complete lack of belief that healthy and fulfilling relationship can be gained with the help from some guidebook. Because every case is unique it is a path of tries and errors and the only universal advice is cliche - compromise.

This sounds like such a good book to read. I’d like to think my marriage is pretty solid, but I might have to pick this one up. I like the idea of a checklist at the end of each chapter to help summarize and implement what was learned during that chapter. Thanks for the insightful review!

Honestly I don’t believe this book sounds like it is for me. I do however think it sounds very interesting for readers who enjoy advice books. Great review!
