Well written memoirs are always a delight to read. Stephanie gave an honest recollection of her life experiences. Those who enjoy stories on family relationship and immigration to the US would appreciate the book. Congratulations on BOTD.

I can like relate with the author. A lot of us have scars from childhood, not necessarily from our parents, from our friends, loved one, which affects our adulthood.

I don't really like reading memoirs or anything regarding to it but I trust the reviewer's judgement. I guess memoirs lovers will be captivated by the book.

Memoirs are not my cup of tea but the author did an amazing job deciding to write about her life and then inviting other people into her world. I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I don't read memoirs too often, but this one sounds interesting. I like how it sounds as if she uses different characters to describe moments in her life. That's a different approach to take that I haven't seen. Thanks for sharing this detailed review.

I really do not enjoy reading memoirs, especially not if they involve difficult family relationships, but I admire the author for sharing her story with her readers.

I'm not a fan of memoirs, but I want to give this book a try because of its subjects, like immigration and relationship with parents.

The author did not quite do a good job since he kept us in suspense and was quite boring at the end
