I have read the first chapters and found them very nicely written. The description of the accident and the hospitalisation that followed filled me with sadness and I couldn't keep on reading...Very good review, thank you!

This is a must-read for me. Being a widow myself, I believe I will find inspiration in Jan's story. I appreciate that you indicated anyone can find insight and inspiration despite there being many religious mentions.

It will be interesting to read about true love because we need such to remind us that it does exist. This is a heartwarming and inspiring book about two lovely people, who love each other and shared their lives together. Reading this makes me feel better and optimistic about so many things in life.

His Sunrise My Sunset by Jan Hurst sounds like an emotional story of love and loss. I can't wait to read and explore the book. Congratulations on the BOTD.

"His Sunrise My Sunset" by Jan Hurst. An interesting story book, talks about the love story of Ms. Hurst and her demise husband. She shared a story of how she misses him and the way she has moved forward. She also talks about her relationship with God and she believes in life after death. Congrats on #BOTD.

The novel seems genuine and authentic. Because I am not a fan of books that bring God into them, I find it unnecessary, I will have to pass on this one.

His sunrise My sunset a story of love and loss is a book that has taught human beings that the feelings of love has always been a beautiful thing that everyone will wish to have and also the feelings of loss that everyone will also experience buh depending on how one take and accept and what I love about Ms.hurst is the way she did not allow her loss to affect and shake her trust in her savior though all tribute to the author for this great book because I will love to read this book again and again.🥰🥰

The book is such a heartfelt tale of love and lose that one is moved to tears. You mention in your review that the parts on her husbands dysfunctional family grated on you a bit. I agree. They were not necessary to the tale. I feel it shows the author may harbor a little bitterness. Good review.

A story of love and family and remembering lost loved ones is such a powerful message. It can feel daunting to read such a book, like having someone to love that deeply be taken from you at a moment's notice, but it is so important to experience at least through writing to appreciate what you have now.

A Romeo and Julie type of story. But this time one survived and deals with lose. Ms Hurst might provide insights on how to overcome grief. Congrats on the book of the day

What a fantastic book! It is disappointing that such a lovely love story has to end so quickly. Despite the tragic loss of her beloved husband, Jan's steadfast faith and belief in God are to be commended. I must congratulate the writer.

I only read a few pages of this memoir when I knew I wanted to read the rest of it. I cannot imagine what it would be like to lose your spouse, especially after being together for so long and growing together. I am very sorry for the author's loss, but I am glad she was able to find peace with the help of Jesus. Thanks for the wonderful review!

A beautiful story indeed. It's good to know how she was able to cope with her loss. Her story will be a source of encouragement to others.
