Faith without Action is a dead one and when you believe in yourself that what is difficult can be easy it will happen for you as mentioned earlier " He was not a perfect Christian, but he believed in God" and so this passed a strong message that whatever life throws at you, you should always remember that God has a plan. It is not always that what we want will happen as we have planned it to be. It is a great book and cannot wait to read more. :eusa-think:

I applied for aviation training in 1998-1999 but got discouraged by my custodian, it wasn't .y first choice among others but neurosurgery was my passion. Looking back, an unseen hand saved me from the medley of setbacks many faces in the pandemic had I been in any of those professions. I still like aviation a little, maybe to design my own flying saucer another time. As for neuroscience, it's a hobby not my career. It's important to recognise Yahuwah's guiding the course of events and not be disgruntled by setbacks, sometimes you understand way much later in life.
The review makes the book worth reading, I commend it too.

Plans That Made God Laugh by Captain Jim 'Bluto' Allen is a memoir like novel based around faith, perseverance, and the manifestation of God's plan in the lives of people. The novel tells of the author's life.

I read the sample and couldn’t put it down. I have committed to other reading but I definitely recommend this book. I agree with your review that it is very relatable. It’s a very easy, quick read. I enjoyed hearing about where he came from and the obstacles many family members faced.

We can make all the plans we want, but in the end, God's plan for our lives will prevail. I enjoyed reading the sample about Jim Allen's childhood and young adulthood. I would be interested to see how his life turns out. Well done!

I have read so many memoirs this year and this one didn't catch my attention. I like how the reader can tell that the author was honest in the storytelling.

This is not my type of book. Aviation does not interest me and religion needs to be very specific for me to be interested in a book about it. Great review!

As a child I dreamed of being a pilot; I don't have depth perception so that wasn't meant to be. I like how faith in God was a driving point of this book. The giving credit where credit is do is also a nice touch.

I don't know anything about aviation, can barely stand getting on a plane. But I'm open to reading about faith and perseverance. Thank you for a lovely review.

This looks like a good book because it shows the reader that anyone can reach their dreams if they work hard and have faith. Even though the author talks about aviation, we can see that it can be applied in any career.

God has a plan for everyone. We just need a little faith in where He will take us. I do not have an interest in aviation but I am sure many will resonate with the author’s story.
