Based on the title I wrongly assumed that this book was on the topic of relationship-building, but I see now that this is about more than just romantic relationships as it covers every facet of communication (individual and communal.) I will definitely be giving this book a read as I do see the value in strong and productive communication.

From this review, I can sense the impactful write-up these authors compiled on keys to healthy comunication. Infact, it is because of an ineffective communication that most people do not understand people they relate with. Some do not ask questions, rather they stay in their corner and assume which usually results to conflict.

The world could use better communication skills (and the willingness to admit that those skills need to be improved). The fact that this book is written by such highly qualified individuals really attracts me to it, as does the fact that it’s still easy to read. I’ll have to give it a look when I get some free time. Thank you for the helpful review.

Hi Jose. What a great review! It was clear to understand and read, a lot like the book you reviewed. Communication is really important, and it actually took me years to figure out how to do it well. Maybe this book will help people not have to struggle as much as I did!

Communication is key! Knowing how to do it effectively is a skill everyone should learn and/or master. I appreciate your mentioning that, despite being penned by PhD holders, the book can be easily understood. Too many technical terms and words one has to "look up" can be frustrating. Nice review!

These intellects have paid obeisance to the most basic need for all things to run smoothly.
The pandemic is a good example of how lack of communication and misinformation can leave a bad taste in the mouth among populations.
Deception, censored news, restrictions of communication channels can bring distrust, turmoils, upheaval and many other ills besides loss of trust.
