To be honest at first , I wasn't really interested in reading this book "Negative Shapes" as I'm a picky person at choosing books. However since you have mentioned the fact that it has descriptions about arts and it also proved to change your perspective through which you saw things, it ignited a desire in me to read it as well. I've been a artistic person since childhood. And I would love to read this book where you have also stated the fact that it's very well written. A new perspective to look at the world is a great opportunity after all.

Most people appreciate art in whichever form. I'm not really sure what to expect as I begin to read the book apart from the importance of art but I'm happy to take the challenge.
Life will go whichever way. Changing it is up to a very powerful force :|
