Engaging introduction. I love that the reviewer even mentioned interesting facts learned from the book. I don’t have cats but this looks like an easy and fun read.

Not only does it explain practical things like how to take care of your cat's physical and mental health, but it also gets into super interesting topics like the history of cats, their behaviors and the dangers they face every day and how we can protect them.

I have had cats my whole life so it was nice to see some things that I already knew validated and make me feel like I was a good pet owner. I only read the sample but the history of cats and their practical uses was really cool. The idea of people showing up with kittens and saying yeah this thing will take care of your vermin problem lol! I am sending this to a friend that is getting her first cat!

I feel like this book is suitable for those who love pets. It will help them connect with their pets as they learn to tenderly care for them, especially the cats. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

Definitely reading this soon. A person can never know too much about your furry friends. Cats are quite unique in many ways and although I know a lot about cats, I think I might learn even more by reading this book. Super excited.

Thanks for a great review. Congrats on BOTD.

The Ultimate Guide to Understanding Your Cat by Jia Mau will definitely be perfect for pet owners and lovers. I'm pretty sure the cartoon Tom and Jerry made everyone think cats love milk; it's so wild that they're actually lactose intolerant!

I already know several individuals to whom I must recommend this book! First is the neighbor with the really fat tabby; second is a co-worker who, despite her great love for cats, always gets to be scratched and bitten. I hope this guide will do them a world of good; as for myself, I had a great relationship with a parrot and intend to stay loyal )) Congratulations on the BOTD!

I've been considering getting a cat, and your review has convinced me that this book is a must-read. I appreciate that you've highlighted the historical aspects of cats and the practical advice. The fact that you found it insightful even as someone who has spent time with cats really speaks to its value. It sounds like a truly enriching journey, and I can't wait to learn more about my future feline friend.

It's a great book for people who want to keep cats or who are already keeping them as it gives detailed explanation about cat's character, food and their lives as they grow older. One shocking thing I've learnt from this book is that cats are lactose intolerant in that milk isn't their favorite food. It's a great book ,though no for me as i don't like keeping animals .

I'm particularly interested in the points you made about the history and evolution of cats; I would love to learn more about their role in ancient Egypt. The insights about cats being lactose intolerant, and having vision problems are things I was not aware of and I am keen to read further about that.
