A thought provoking read for open minded Christians seeking deeper theological insinghts. The review is well-critically analysed the book. Religious fiction isn't my cup of tea. So I'll skip this one. Thank you for such a helpful review.

'Official Review: CHRISTIAN ORTHODOXY: A Closer Look' by Joseph Grogan discusses the non-fiction book's content in detail. Readers learn about the topics the book covers. The author unearths the traditions and dogma that have obscured the radical simplicity of Jesus's message most brilliantly and objectively. He examines the evolution of Christian doctrines showing how various beliefs and teachings have developed over time. Also, he concludes the book by encouraging readers to use Jesus's teaching as a moral compass for their lives. It was great to learn that the book emphasizes the importance of loving one's neighbors, forgiving others, and striving for humility and compassion!

I also tend to believe our Christianity is shaped more by history, culture, and interpretation than the teachings of Jesus himself. I am glad to come across the book with this same perspective and thought-provoking. I am looking forward to reading it. Congratulations on BOTD!

This review does an amazing job of highlighting the thought-provoking nature of Christian Orthodoxy: A Closer Look. It sounds like Joseph Grogan really pushes readers to re-examine what they’ve taken for granted in their faith, especially with the scrutiny of the New Testament accounts. I appreciate how the review points out that the book could be challenging for some, but also rewarding for open-minded readers who are ready to explore these deeper theological discussions. Thanks for such a thorough and insightful review!

It is defiantly something to think about. The way religion is shaped and how Christianity likely has changed overtime. I am excited to read this book and learn more about the history of the only religion I’ve ever known. Congrats on BOTD!!!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting book focusing on understanding Christian doctrine and dealing with the concept of interpretation of New Testament stories that potentially shape our understanding of Jesus Christ. While it might not be for everyone, it might be worth a second look. Well done.

I like when religion is questioned. Instead of believing one thing, wat if the reality is that many different aspects of religion and Christianity is the actual truth. Looking at stories about Christianity from different perspectives is thinking outside of the box we've been put in since birth.

It calls into question the authenticity and coherence of the gospels, but also the way in which Christian doctrines have been influenced and shaped by external factors over time.

Thank you for your great review. I'm glad you enjoyed the book. While I do think it is interesting to see what people say when thinking outside of the box, I am going to pass on this book. I am a Christian and believe in God, Jesus, and the Bible. While others have the right to believe what they want to, so do I. So at this time, I will let others enjoy the book without me.

I think "CHRISTIAN ORTHODOXY: A Closer Look" by Joseph Grogan is the author's understanding and perception of what Christian doctrine and the New Testament account of Jesus' ministry are about.
I am an open-minded Christian, but I won't be reading this book for some reason.

No offense to the author, but any claims that discredit the scriptures are heretical in themselves. One may try, but discrediting what you don't truly know or understand by mere human reasoning is indeed foolishness.
