Even with the relaxed tone, I don’t think another goal book is in my future.

This is a great and very motivational book to read to start off 2018. Some of us go on in life not knowing where to go, we just go with the flow. Some of us have "success" but feeling incomplete or not satisfied. This book will make you rethink your life, what to do next and indeed redesigning your life with a purpose.
Thank you for an honest and thorough review. I also agree with you about the title, it'll surely caught readers' interest.
And thanks to the author for sharing his experiences, insights and lessons learned in life.

Thanks for the review. I, too, like the idea behind the title - and that the book goes beyond setting goals, to achieving them.

This is book is a combination of pep talk and guides as to how to set your real life goals and achieve them.

Unfortunately, motivational books are not my thing. So I'll pass over this one but I will be glad to recommend it to someone I know of course..

A person cannot achieve a goal that is in direct opposition to his beliefs.
This is a true statement. Thanks Eric for such a wonderful piece.

So the ten step process the book uses seems nice enough but I personally am not a fan of self help books. I do not plan on reading this for that reason but I hope that it is able to help others!

I, also, found the layout confusing, with sections before the contents, and had to go back and check it wasn't just an introduction. I like the idea of having set accomplishable goals for short term as well as the long term ones. Great review

You are right about most books teaching you how to set goals but not how to achieve those goals. Thanks for the informative review. I will put this book on my TBR list.

Thanks for the review. I agree with you that I would also like to see the steps laid out first before the descriptions are given. I also love books where the author has actually done the things they are writing about and have actual experience. I don't think that people can actually write a self-help if they haven't done it themself.

This is surely a great piece... Entrepreneurs should dazzle into it.
Can't wait to learn from the author's mistakes. Its not enough to set goals, achieving them is the real deal. Bouncing back to retry when they fail is the hardest .
An informative and i spirational book like this should be recommend for young entrepreneurs . I will read this. Congrats on BOTD.
