It basically means that to create something new and better something old has to disappear. It is the cycle where innovation revolutionizes industries but at the cost of replacing what already exists.

This book presents a wake-up call regarding the problems that await the world due to lack of caution and bad policies, such as: world population, deforestation rate, global emissions, and waste management, among others. Sounds interesting!

This sounds like a thought-provoking book that tackles crucial global issues with a mix of science, economics, and innovation. The focus on sustainable practices and the role of economics in shaping the Earth’s future seems very informational. Congrats on BOTD!

Perhaps this informative take is better than dreary dystopian stories. Congrats. I might like this one.

This is not something that interests me at all. I know that things are turning for the worst globally but to read and worry about things a person can't control, causes unnecessary stress and negativity. It's not that I don't care about all this, but unfortunately humans won't change so our situation won't change either. Thanks for a good review. Congrats on BOTD

This review has done justice to today's BOTD, "Better Economics for the Earth: A Lesson from Quantum and Information Theories" by Quan-Hoang Vuong and Minh-Hoang Nguyen. It has raised salient questions that are discussed by the authors and has given the reader a synopsis of the book's content. Good job!

Interesting review. I wonder what you’d categorize this book as? It’s not quite a narrative, but not quite non-fiction or self-help either.

I don't have a scientific type of mind and economics are definitely nowhere near my area of experience, so this book should hardly gain my interest. But on the other hand, I am very immersed in ecology and Earth preservation for the sake of our mutual mother. Thanks for the recommendation and congrats on BOTD!

I appreciated the thought-provoking insights in "Better Economics for the Earth". The authors' comprehensive approach to addressing global issues, from environmental degradation to economic systems, was impressive. The writing was clear and informative, making complex concepts accessible. While the book's scope was ambitious, the authors' precision and organization kept the narrative engaging. Overall, a valuable read for those interested in sustainability and economics.

The author beautifully explained the consequences of bad human practice. Deforestation and global emissions are causing harm. How do the economics of today, biotic and abiotic processes affect Earth? Read to find out more.
