The layout of this book sounds interesting, but it's too bad about the lack of topic consistency. I won't be reading this one, but it looks like it tries to do some things many other books of its kind don't.

About te review I must say it is descriptive, honest and good. I read the initial pages of the book myself though I knew this book is clearly not for me, just by seeing the cover page. I am neither a christian nor a religious person so, I will not attempt to read this book. Anyway it seems as a good book and thank you for the review

I would love to read this devotional book! You have a valid point about the lack of consistency of each day with the weekly theme. I think I could still benefit from it, though.

I have started reading this today and find I agree with you that the writer did not always stay on task with the topic of the week as I am perusing the content. I still think this is a great idea and I enjoy the scripture insights and the personal experiences the writer has shared and love that I can make notes as I grow in grace.
