Wow, I wish I had found this book before I entered college. Nobody really hands you a guide towards reaching adulthood, but this book does a pretty decent job in explaining a few steps that could benefit someone during the transition and until after college. Excellent job!

I like the fact that at the end of each chapter it's summarized, but I don't think I'll be picking this up. Sorry.

You’re review has given me great insight of the book. I’m quite interested in it now actually , seeing as though I am looking into higher education in a year or so.
It will highly benefit me , because of the mentioned information in this review.

As a recent college grad, I definitely thing a book like this could really help me. I wish this book was at the college career center at my high school. It's always important to keep yourself informed about finances and the best ways to reduce debts. I strongly believe that the earlier you become knowledgeable about these things, the better off you will be. I would love to read the advice the author gives on reducing college debt and also the ways in which you can prepare retirement savings. This book is great for anyone regardless what stage they are in their lives. Thank you so much for such a well-written review!

This would have been beneficial in prepping me for college. Especially since my family couldn't assist me and I was more focused on the surgeries I had in 10th and 12th grade.

I really enjoyed your review. Even at a quick glance as I was scrolling down the page to view its entirety, I could see that you included a lot of useful information about the book. You were very descriptive with what the different chapters include, which is almost a must with self-help books because it helps potential readers to identify exactly what kind of information they are going to be paying for. The fact that you mentioned the book being 7 inches long and 4 inches wide was a stand-out feature to me because sometimes while looking for books online it's easy to forget to take into account what it would be like to physically cart the book around. In adding your personal thoughts to how the book should be used, and who it can potentially benefit, that was another layer I appreciated because it helped to establish just how useful the information in the book is. I'm sure that others reading this review will find it very worthwhile.

"This book should be available in every high school counselors' office, or college career centers. "
I was thinking that you could learn a lot of the stuff about GPA, ACT, and SAT from a school counselor. This would be a great book for counselors to loan out to students who want some basic information about those things. It seems like too many students wait until senior year to start worrying about college, when they should be thinking about it much sooner to be thoroughly prepared. This book doesn't seem to dense, extensive, or tedious for the busy high schooler.

Thank you for the insightful and educational review concerning this book. I completely agree with you that this book should be available in every high school and counselor's office. This book sounds like it would be an insightful book to have in a young person's possession so that they can properly plan their academic and financial future. As I am not planning on returning to college I don't think that this book will be pertinent to me, but I will recommend it to others!

A concise self-help book geared towards those interested in pursuing higher education, avoiding debt, and saving for retirement. It is also easy to carry and flip book.
