I don't think that this is a book that I would enjoy reading. I like to read adventure and humorous stories. I don't like to read nonfiction or biographies. I also don't have much interest in reading about Texas. I think that I will pass on reading this novel.

It sounds like a well-written collection, but the subject matter doesn’t hold my interest. Thanks for the review.

I think this sounds like a fascinating collection of stories that will shed some light on a different way of living. Very unique. Although I'm not too sure about the 'lol' bits you mentioned, I do understand why the author would include them based on the writing style. Thanks for the review!

Tales from the Riverside sounds like a fascinating inside look into a life that is very different from what is typical nowadays in the U.S. What grabbed me most in the sample was when Landgraf states that his home in the swamp supplies him everything he needs, and he points out to the reader that the average person relies on other people to supply all of their necessities of life--food, water, etc. "What if suddenly you are thrust into circumstances where you must depend upon yourself for every need or you would die?" he asks. That really made me think.

Excellently written review! I think this would be a very interesting book to read.

I can't imagine that living in a swamp is pleasant or safe at all. It sounds like Mr. Landgraf had some dangerous experiences with the various things that come with a swamp (like snakes). Since I love to read about danger, I would love to read this book for review some time. Thanks for introducing this book to me.

The fact that the book compiled thirty-six very short stories that illustrate different facets of his life makes it unique. I will definitely read this book. Great review

You overcame the difficulty of reviewing a multi-story book with such prose and eloquence! Your perception on how nature and environment also play a role in diversity is agreeable and has made me consider this book! Congratulations on a well written review!
