This book sounds deliciously word-nerdy. I could see it not being everyone's cup of tea, but it totally is mine.

I, too, was not aware of the extensive study of quotations. Your review is very well written and for anyone who is interested in this topic, I feel your review would reel them right in. You do a great job of explaining how eloquently the author wrote about this topic and I also think its important how you brought up the intense research she did behind this subject.

The book sounds very informative, though a little dry to those who are interested in a quick and easy read. Thank you for your review!

Why do we qoute by Ruth Finnegan

It's a nice book, it motivates me a lot because it is very informative. The author did a lot of research about her topic. You really put in your best effort and lots of your time in writing this.

Why Do We Quote? The review throws a bright light into this subject. I appreciate the author's painstaking research and I think I am interested in learning the act of quotation. Is it easy to learn or we have to be naturally endowed? These are the things we have to look out for, it might be helpful some days.

An eloquent and educative and engaging book that tends to explain the important of quotations and use of citations in literary work, screenplay and oratory. The cover is also as simple as it could ever be.

I had no idea quotations were a big subject either! Thanks for the review - you broke everything down nicely! I'm not necessarily interested in quotations, seeing as I barely have a grasp on all they entail, and in the extensive vocabulary that is used in this book. It's not a preference of mine to read academic articles so I assume the same would go for this book. Again, thanks for the review!

This sounds like the kind of book I would like to have on my shelf. And although it might not be a work of fiction, it surely will be a good book of reference. Thank you for your review.

Great review. I am one of those people who love a good fitting quote for all of my situations. I have often found myself wondering how some of them came about. I will definitely be checking this one out. Thanks so much for sharing.

I don't know if I want to read a whole book about quotes. I think I'll pass. Nice review though

I can’t imagine wanting to read a book on this subject outside of a classroom situation. I’m sure the author did a lot of research and went through a lot of material. Thanks for your review.

I have always been interested in the subject of quotes and where they originated so this book will definitely appeal to me. The review makes it sound even more interesting although I am suprised to hear that there were errors in grammar. A good review and I will definitely keep this book in mind!

I imagine this would be very useful and educational for many people, especially students. Although, as much as I could learn from this book, I don’t think I will be reading more of this one.
