I still do not get what sort of a book this is. But I am curious enough to try it. Congratulations on being BOTD

A nice mixing of facts with fiction in the book "The Eleventh Commandment; Dr. David Trucker" by David W. Florence M.D., which is a story of eighty seven years old surgeon Dr. David, regarding his personal experiences after achieving tremendous success in his career. Several incidences of humor in the story makes it quite enjoyable to read.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Latest Review: The eleventh Commandment By Dr. David Trucker

Sounds Like the writer, never had a dull moment and I am curios, to know whether the Mcnally twins got access to the school and how the "problem", was sorted and I like the humorous tone a, as well.

This sounds like a story of a man who turned his life around a readable book. To be a physician, part of the underworld and able to rise above all that. Almost sounds like it could be a made for tv movie!
Thanks for the review.

That realization - that bad things happen to good people - has come in handy in my life. This sounds like it is a compelling exploration of diverse issues. I am curious about the 11th one. Thanks for the review.

I'm not a big fan of blood and gore. This book is obviously one of those. I have to give this a pass although I think a lot of people would enjoy it. Since the reviewer has mentioned that the author had sprinkled humor throughout the book. I also think that the author did a great job on his first writing project and some people might find this story inspirational.

Great job on the review. Just enough to pique my interest but not enough to give anything away. I liked that the book added a touch of humor to help lighten up the gory details included. And an interesting perspective to read from what the author witnessed as a young boy and how it changed his view of the world.

I wonder what the Eleventh Commandment is...I have guess, but it's a bit disturbing to think about. Being 87 years old, I'm sure the author has had a lot of experience being a medical doctor. I do wonder which parts were embellished? It's good to know that you found the writing to be easy to understand and there weren't too many medical terms. Witnessing WWII must have had an impact on the author's life, so it's good that he included some of his experiences during that time period in his novel. Humor is always a nice addition to any story. Can't imagine interacting with Elizabeth Taylor! Too bad that the author didn't reveal the "three little words" from Mother Teresa, but I'm glad you enjoyed this well-edited book. Gory scenes aren't things I enjoy reading about, so I'll pass, but thanks for sharing!

:eusa-think: Hmm, I'm highly interested and this wonderful review definitely peaked my interest in the book! I'm left wanting to know more about the book, which I can only obtain that "more" that I want by reading! Though I believe bad things happen to bad people because it's karma coming to bite them in the @$$ and pay them back for their wrong doings. I think this will be an interesting read and definitely need to get the book now!

Many people reach retirement thinking they have lived a normal life. It is when other people become aware of their experiences that jaws begin to drop. Our world is changing so fast that we forget what past generations lived through. It is always enlightening to hear about these episodes from the people who lived them and learn how they were affected by these historical events. Thanks for the recommendation!
