"There were no fluffs, filler narratives, or unnecessary repetitions." I was already predisposed to read it, but that description is the clincher for me.

This seems like a really well-researched book, although I do kind of agree that a personal touch would have made the book a lot better. Thanks for the review.

This seems very informative! I also think that students of finance would learn a lot of things from this!

Just like the book you described, the review is concise and clear. It gives the reader a good idea of whether they'd want to read that book.

I would have loved to give this book a try, but since there is no personal experience attached to it, I suspect whether the principles are practicable. But it has good intentions. Thanks for this review.

Thank you for the review. I actually did not have much information on intellectual property, and your review together with the summary on the book has given me clarity on this subject. This is a good read to provide one with intelligence on the said subject.

:) It is a very interesting topic as most people dont think of what is behind a product. They just see the product and want it. It is very informative on the topic and gives clear information that most people are not aware of. It allows persons to become aware of the inventors role and his due rewards and the unfairness he faces when these steps outlined in the book are not followed. The book is a must read for general knowledge.

It seems like this book is a must read. Especially nowadays where people tend to explore online revenue to support or even replace their current monthly income. Royalty could be a great source of passive income as well.

A useful book and a useful review. I believe that the brevity you pointed out belongs to the business writing style. Someone who acknowledges the value of time in business will only include in the message what is necessary, perhaps as a sign of respect for the reader.
I also believe you have a point in suffering from the impersonality of the address. I have come across the opposite situation with a highly academic book that had a friendly and close-to-the reader approach.
Thank you for the accurate review!

Oh! How I love books that contain information on personal finance. Earning royalty is one of the ways to financial freedom. It is earning-while-sleeping at its best. A pity there isn't much of a personal touch in the book, but the information alone will do just fine. Kudos to you.

This is a topic that should be written about more often. Royalties is a complex part of the law, and most people don't understand how they work. It is a shame the author didn't add that personal touch. Great review!

This sounds like a good book, filled with facts and figures, about how a person can protect their intellectual property; I may give this one a look. Thanks for the great review, Sam. :techie-studyingbrown:
