I will check this book out. It covers a time period that shaped America. As someone who studies genealogy, I would be interested to know how prominent Americans' histories played into it all. Thanks for the review.

Thank you for the review. Any person who like me is interested in knowing about past life or how something came to be,then they'll definitely enjoy this story, especially when the story is well written with detailed facts.

Sounds like this would be an interesting read for history buffs. Unfortunately I'm not one of them, but you make it sound like an interesting read non the less. Thanks for the review!

I like that you mentioned the landmarks. This book will be helpful in increasing the awareness and appreciation for these structures. And hopefully, people will give more value to these silent witnesses of history.

Thank you for your insightful review.

A well-researched history novel that should appeal to a wide audience. Well done to the author. I enjoyed the review.

I consider history a fascinating subject, but this doesn't meet my reading taste at the moment. I will add to my shelf for future reference.

This is a well-researched history of an important family in Europe and the United States. I had no idea that the Randolphs and the Bushes were descendants of Charlemagne! The few pages I have read so far are very informative and inspiring. The Christian Church connection makes it even more valuable to me. This review was very thorough and nicely written.

Wow thats a nice review!
This sounds to be a wonderful book. The author has done a great research to describe nine generations.
This must be a good read as the characters description is realistic as mentioned in the review.
I will love to read this book.

Historical fiction is not really my thing but this book seems to be well-researched and focuses on historical landmarks as well as religion. Thanks for this informative review.

I also have great expectations of this book, so I’m glad to learn that as a historian, you found it useful. I’ve seen some attribution of the Fitz lineage to Charlemagne and I’m curious to find out if there is some attachment of myth to that. :D

I definitely am not well informed on the revolutionary war. I would also love to experience the writer's work on the history of the Christian community and what exactly led to what. I'm normally not a historical book person but this would surely be worth a shot. Thanks for the review.
