B Creech wrote: 23 Feb 2021, 09:26 This sounds like a motivating and inspirational book! I agree 100% with the author that age is just a number, and it is never too late to pursue anything. I went back to college at the age of 40 to pursue my nursing degree, finished in the top 10 in my class, and actively worked as a nurse for 18 years. Anything is possible regardless of one's age. Thanks for the lovely review!
Aside from the author, your story is as motivational! Thank you for sharing that!

This book doesn't fit my interest so I am going to pass. The genre isn't something that I enjoy reading not does it grab my attention.

I am terribly sorry, but I am not a believer. I don't think that "spiritual growth" or reading about someone else experience going through such process, can be helpful in any more capability than simple inspiration. And I am not the type to have it work. No offense, but Ibwill have to pass this book. Still, congrats on BOTD!

I appreciate that the author has a Psychology degree, because some of these books are written willy-nilly, and it can be counterproductive. It is, indeed, inspiring, to think that you are never too old to achieve your dreams.
Thank you for your thorough review!

I find the emphasis on people over 40 to be interesting. This focuses on a large section of society who may be ready to change careers or feel they have not reached their potential. This is an inspiration to never give. Thanks for the thorough analysis of this book!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting self-help book focused on how to creating the life that the reader wants and divides the book into four parts: career, higher goals, love and helping others. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

This self-help book shows how to attain what you want out of life. It is especially helpful to me because it tells how older people can live and make their lives more meaningful. Congratulations to the author for writing this interesting book chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer. Your review was excellent.

This sounds like an inspirational read and also one that is helpful for those seeking to work in education (and those looking to make mid-career switches). Thanks for the review.

This book doesn't seem for me: I'm a young atheist who generally doesn't enjoy self-help books. However, your review was insightful and interesting, and I'm sure the book will find its audience!

I don’t read self-help books, so I think I’ll skip this one. It sounds like the section on finding a career would not be worthwhile for me, but the other sections may have their benefits.
