Vickey Robinson's commitment to providing accurate information about Black American history is commendable. It's heartening to hear that she includes visual elements and poetry, making the book even more engaging and emotionally impactful. Congrats on BOTD.

It always shocks me to read about the gap between White America and Black America. Sometimes I even find myself wondering, can it really still be that bad? I mean, I know the history, but it sounds like nobody learned anything from it. However, this book is another account proving that this issue has not been resolved. Thank you for your wonderful review, Bertha!

enjoying vigorous sex. Enjoying it, that is, until the woman (Lisa Brenner) demands that her partner, whom she’s clearly just met, “say my name,” which turns out to be Mary. Needless to say, for comedy purposes at least, her partner, Statton (Nick Blood) gets it wrong, explaining that he tried to memorize it using mnemonics. Very lovely.

The book seems interesting giving the review on Black history, civil rights, and discrimination. Besides the book is short which will definitely be appreciated by lots of people. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Vickey Robinson shares her research, thoughts, and opinions on the discrimination and racism of black Americans. She describes the journey of obstacles from the Abraham Lincoln era to the present. The battle with race relations still exists today. This is an informative book that can help Americans continue to strive toward equality for all. This book would be beneficial for everyone to read.

Equality is certainly a dream for many: the colored, the differently abled, the fairer sexes, the poor, etc. When is the question that begs an answer. I would be happy to read this collection of thoughts.

A book that talks about human rights should be widely distributed and read. I am certain that a great deal of research went into this book. Congrats to Ms. Robinson on BOTD. Insightful review.

This book seems to give valuable historical information and genuine opinions about the lives of Black Americans. While I think this is a great book to read, I'm not really interested in American history.

I enjoyed the pictures and the poetry she included in the book. It was easy to visualize the events Ms. Robinson describes in the book.
- It's always easier with pictures, & since I'm a fan of poetry, you hooked me with that too. I enjoyed reading your review. Thank you.

What a great review! Sounds like a book everyone should read. At 26 pages, it could be a great book for discussion since it won’t take long to get through the book. Awareness needs to continue to be made on the forefront of black lives with the other racial issues against people of all colors.

I liked the short succinct chapters centred around individual thoughts. Each chapter ended with a small picture linked to the thought. I found myself not disagreeing with the author’s point of view on the historical aspects that have led to a ‘second-class’.

The plot of this book is amazing. I appreciate how the history of Black people is portrayed in a meticulous manner, with the use of strong characters who played significant roles in the liberation of slaves. I suggest that the text is both constructive and cognitive, meaning it provides valuable insights and stimulates thinking. It not only explores the complexities of the historical era but also highlights the disciplined, focused, and consistent nature of an individual. I specifically mention the example of emulating the personality of Martin Luther King Jr., who was known for his unwavering and determined pursuit of freedom.

As much I got to know from reading Author Vickey Robinson did great job explaining the situation on Black people's freedom right after that civil fight. Even if slavery was banned and white and black people were given equal rights on record it was still too much struggle for black peoples to even have proper education and make lively.

No doubt author did great job explaining the event & situations of black people in America.
