The question that pips to my mind is why the government wants to take custody of Chad. I am looking forward to reading this book but I feel so sorry for Chad. Congratulations to the author on winning book of the day.

I can only imagine the pain and torment these people went through. I agree that she had a lot of courage to share her journey with her son. I am sure she is hoping it helps others. I am glad she took the extra step to make sure it was well edited.

I can't imagine having to subject my kid to chemotherapy. It's devastating. Congrats on the BOTD and thanks for the review.

This biography describes a mother's journey as she fought her young son's leukemia, the court system, and the media. Her faith gave her the courage to overcome adversity and hope for the future. Diana Meyer is an inspiration; her book will surely help others in similar circumstances. Excellent book review!

The book sounds interesting and really heartbreaking describing all the hardships and the struggles the mother went through while trying to protect her child who was terminally ill. For me personally such kind of a topic will be a bit too much to handle but I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

The review raises the issue of the government potentially taking legal custody of a sick loved one, adding another layer of difficulty for families already facing numerous challenges. The prospect of having to fight in court to regain custody in order to continue providing care is mentioned, illustrating the additional obstacles faced by the protagonist's family. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I am fascinated by the story of the author's firstborn child, Chad, and how he struggled with leukemia. I am intrigued by the fact Chad developed leukemia after he and his parents decided to move out and get their own place. I am interested in learning whether the parents decide thst Chad should begin chemotherapy or if they should just let Chad live till his day to cross comes.

Sounds like a really sad memoir. I hope the parents will find comfort in the message of the book. Though I'm wondering what the legal custody is about, reading about the painful death of the loved one is not I'd enjoy. I appreciate the author's courage in sharing her painful personal experience in detail. Thank you for an informative review.

As I read this book review, I'm struck by the way that you describe the emotional intensity of the book. You mention that the book is "heart-wrenching" and "moving," and I can tell that you were really impacted by the story. You also did a great job of highlighting the real-life experiences that the author incorporates into the book. This makes the book feel grounded and relatable.

It's painful losing a loved one and even more painful reliving the experience to make a story. This author's strength is commendable and I believe this story would be inspiring.

To tell a story of a sick or to care for them evokes a lot of emotion. Chad's sudden change in health shows the importance of human beings and the need to surround ourselves with people we love and play with. We can only live a better life among other humans with whom we share something special.
