"Mirror Mirror: A Collection of Memoirs and Stories" by Stephanie Hart. An interesting story book, has so much to do with the author's childhood stories and tag as a non fiction book, well written. Congrats on your #BOTD.

Everyone has its own "significant times in life", but as private person I believe it is unbecoming for anyone to share with strangers and "conveys how those events made feel". I might be wrong, but such literature makes me uncomfortable, because one can confide to trusted, not to all.

This book is very honest, even though many of the comments in the sample are hurtful. The author does not shy away from speaking about how emotional these memories are for her, which makes me want to read the rest of the book. Thanks for the review!

I'm curious about how immigrants adjust to their new environment in a new country. Memoir is one of my favorite genres, so I'd like to give this a try. I hope that at the end of the book, the author managed to settle her differences with her parents. The imaginary part of her stories is intriguing. Congratulations on the BOTD.

The interactions described between the author and her mother sounds somewhat similar to my mother and grandmother. I look forward to reading this memoir. Great review!

I’m looking forward to digging this novel to find out how Hart was able to get through the difficult challenges in her life. There is always learning to be had form real stories and I’m sure this one is no different. I commend the author for sharing her life and being open with her readers.

I unfortunately am not the biggest fan of memoirs. However it's really nice that this one is a collection of different ones. Congratulations on book of the day!
