"Plans that Made God Laugh" by CAPT Jim “Bluto” Allen. An interesting, inspiring book. faith, aviation, and perseverance. A story centered on God’s plan in our lives. As lot to do with the story of the author Jim whose dream was to fly a plane one day. His dreams later came to past after putting all the hard work, perseverance and through the grace of God. Congrats on your #BOTD.

This book touches aviation and faith as they come up into a man's life story. Although I'm certain this is a beautiful memoir, those subjects don't particularly interest me. Congrats though!

The title of this inspiring memoir made me laugh and it's attention getting as well. While I have no interest in pursuing a career in aviation, I am interested in the aviation world. Great review!

Insightful review. Wow, you truly do not know someone's story until you have walked in their shoes. The author has lived a very eventful life, always searching for fulfillment which always seemed to elude him. Many of us suffer hits and misses in life before finally getting it together. I would love to keep reading to see how the author finally found equilibrium and was able to put the missing pieces back together. Kudos to the author for having the courage to tell his story to enlighten others. Great choice for BOTD.

Seems quite interesting. From the title to the theme, a reader would be intrigued to know what the pages of this book contains and as the reviewer has mentioned, this book is worthy of all praises. Faith and aviation are very important attractive things this book talks about. Nice review.

Thank you for your review and recommendation. Aviation aside, this book's message seems to be about a man's search for himself and how he dealt with his life's situations as they came along. Plenty of interesting points to reflect upon.

It seems that when it comes to aviation, either you have the bug or your don't. Congrats to the author for realizing his dream and leaning on his faith in God. Thank you for your review and recommendation.

Unfortunately, this book is totally not my cup of tea. I am not all that interested in Aerospace Engineering, aviation or Christianity and influence faith in God has on people, to start reading about life of some stranger to pick on his memories and impressions. Sorry I will skip it, bur congrats with BOTD anyway!

I am excited to read about Allen's tenacity even in disappointments and hardship. I am encouraged to read that God is in control of every situation, as evidenced in Allen's life. I look forward to reading more about Allen's life's experiences.

Unfortunately, this isn’t a book for me. I struggled to get into the author’s story from the excerpt, mainly based on the style of writing.
