Hi, Chris, thank you for your review of this book. I have always admired those who dare to leave their rat race and travel to see the world. I am interested in reading this book as I am curious about what the author learned from the people he met in his travels. I am ready to get lost in this book. :techie-studyinggray:

The book explore the impact of the emotional elements in the book, particularly how Brent's storytelling evokes strong emotions in the reader and how his encounters with individuals like Mikey and Bernard at the Sealdah station create a touching and memorable experience. Nice review.

It's a compelling story of Brent on his journal tour around the world in search for answer to his interest of living a perfect life which irritates. In short, life isn't fair or flawless. It's not perfect, it's not meant to be. Ironically, we already know this truth but that doesn't stop us from making a trial, otherwise success is made up of a bunch of lessons learned from failures.
The author was honest and experienced

'Many people have left their homes in search of peace, rest and perfection, but do they find the same?'. This phrase got me thinking and I would love to read and see how Brent's life changed. This is a great review. Thanks.

The general idea of finding joy despite life's obstacles struck a chord with me, but the sporadic overtones of racism made me uneasy. However, the book is compelling to read because of its realism and the author's skill at fusing many religious viewpoints.

A simple yet amazing review. I am not a very big fan of autobiographies though.

This travel memoir sounds like a journey of enlightenment with many valuable lessons to learn along the way. I’m glad the author was able to find a way to live a joyful life despite his trials and moments of despair. An encouraging book to be sure!

Perfection? I don't think anyone can attain a perfect life in this world now. No matter the amount of money, the degree of health, and how strong you feel about your relationship. But I think that I can learn a powerful lesson from Brent.

An autobiography of someone who has traveled several continents and learned life lessons on the way definitely sounds intriguing to a travel geek like me. I can’t wait to read about Brent’s experiences and lessons he has learned. It’s a shame that introducing new people to the reader was lacking and caused confusion, but it appears you’ve enjoyed the book nevertheless! Thanks for the wonderful review!

This author is a person who loves to explore as the book shows. That quality is admirable as it allows one to go through many parts of the world, which would help in finding their purpose. Congrats on BOTD!!

I am fascinated by the author's detailed narrative of experiences he acquired while he was travelling around several continents. I am intrigued by the lessons the author learned on his journey across oceans and continents. I am interested in learning if the author would be able to find peace, rest, and perfection.

This is a compelling novel. I came across Brent, who travels to different continents, including Africa in search of a peaceful abode. Well, did he see what he wanted? This secret is uncovered in the captivating pages of this book and I so much recommend it to everyone.
Congrats on BOTD!

The experiences that are acquired when traveling are incredible. Brent tells us about his travels and his experiences as he searches for a great life. This autobiography can serve as a guide for learning from the author's experiences. #BOTD
