This review is extremely well done. The memoir brings out a truth that is not yet conquered in the distortion of leadership in public service throughout our country, but this may be the start of the fall of this "brotherhood". Many have been sacrificed and once individuals are recognized through truth, our leadership will recover and reach the world. The truths offered in this memoir are exposures of the underground found in various levels of business and as such, a much-needed reminder that truth will out.

Back in my management days, when I read just about everything I could on leadership, I would have jumped at this book. Although it appears to be exceptional, I'll take a pass as those days are long gone. Congrats to the authors on their achievement.

Such a fantastic book with lots to embrace. Even with the rapid contemporary adjustments to roles of leaders to their people, the envisionable trails of positivity by loyal citizens eventually do not reflect to leaders. As Gordan displays the ultimate reality from his writing of The Intrepid bortherhood, it is evident that greed for power and monetary accumulation convert the good of a commence to the wrath of its victims. If change is to be found, the persons in power should relate effectively with the persons and things around them.

A very interesting and thought-provoking book about military special operations that highlights how power can blind a person and make him forget what honesty is. Mark’s team stays true to their beliefs in this intriguing story. Thank you for the review it’s very detailed and I love how you said there are illustrations in the book. I love stories with illustrations

A nice eye-opening book "The Intrepid Brotherhood" by Gordon Graham, which showcases the experiences of how working under an iniquitous boss in business sector affect satisfaction from job. This is a nice book to read.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

The book sample and review are triggering flashbacks to the 80s and 90s! Anyone unfortunate to have company outsiders using "modern management practices" installed into management probably has a good idea of where this story is going. I'm putting this book on my shelf and see how Graham's experience compares to mine.

"The Intrepid Brotherhood" by Gordon Graham tells about the author's experience working with Charlie Hosken as the leader of the organization. The book especially deals with the topics of poor management, poor planning, and misuse of power.

This book shows what power can make someone do, just as in the case of Charlie and how he treated his subordinates.

You wrote a very thorough review on The Intrepid Brotherhood. I am so glad that I am out of the corporate world and putting up with insufferable bosses!

I find the topic of what some people can do when they are in a position of power interesting. This seems like Gordon's case with Charlie Hosken. Additionally the story delves into thought-provoking themes such as leadership, corruption, and business ethics.

Definitely not my cup of tea, because it sounds like a corporate world to me and I for sure don't share their mindset and mentality to find the book interesting. After reading the description provided in the review, I believe I had enough information to know I won't get much of references and prefer to skip.

Gordon Graham's 'The Intrepid Brotherhood' is a compelling exposé of the turmoil within Chelan County Public Utility District. Graham's detailed narrative sheds light on questionable management practices, overspending, and ethical lapses. This book not only tells his story but also offers valuable insights into ethical leadership and best practices. A must-read for managers and employees alike. Highly recommended!"

Lovely review.the book provides a powerful illustration of the importance of ethical leadership and how a lack of it can have serious consequences for organizations and individuals. It also highlights the challenges whistleblowers face, and the need for society to support and protect them.

A very useful review, and I agree with the 5 star rating and with the reviewer's thoughts on all counts. I only sampled this book, and I found it very interesting how Gordon juxtaposes toxic and inspirational leaders by reference to the philosophies of Aristotle and Sun Tzu. I am yet to reach the cartoons mentioned in the review but I am sure I would enjoy them like the reviewer did :).
