Many cat owners often comment on how their cats want to be near them only when they are hungry or thirsty then want nothing to do with them as soon as they are fed. A book that helps people understand their feline pets better will be treasured by many cat owners.

The Ultimate Guide to Understanding Your Cat is written by Jia Mau. This book serves as a complete guide for cat lovers who wish to keep a cat as a pet. The author also describes the history of cats as pets and the human-cat relationship. The author emphasizes the importance of understanding the common traits of cats and also mentions that there are some unique qualities in every cat, which can only be understood by those who form a bond with them. This book is a must-read for cat lovers, in my opinion. The author has shared all his experiences with cats in this book.

Also, congratulations on being declared 'BOTD'!

This book is a great resource for pet cat owners. It talks about the history and evolution of cats, their mental and physical traits, and how to form an emotional bond with your cat. The author gives tips on grooming skills. It's appalling to know that cats are actually lactose intolerant!

Owning a cat means that your life will never have a dull moment. His life is full of joy and happiness from owning cat. Cats can also help you manage stress. Kat had a cat that doesn't cuddle. The cat would spend time in the same room as humans instead. When Kat is feeling stressed or overwhelmed, the cat would sit down on her lap until she calm down. Other than helping to reduce stress, cats can help you build strong bonds with people in your life and benefit your overall health.

"The Ultimate Guide to Understanding Your Cat" by Jia Mau is a step-by-step guide to understanding your cat and why your cat does the things it does. Having owned a cat for more than ten years I thought I understood my White Sox but it looks like I have a lot to learn. I always thought his mental and physical health was well taken care of because I treated him like one of my children. This book explores the history of cats. I did not know how revered cats were in ancient Egypt and that when a cat died the owner would shave their eyebrows when morning their cats. My cat was incredible. He loved people and did not run from them. He would jump up on my bed at bedtime and crawl beneath the covers and lay his head on my pillow and go to sleep. At 5 a.m. he would start playing in the blinds and then he would be removed from my bed and put outside the door. I loved this cat so much and when it was time for him to cross the rainbow bridge, I was heartbroken. I would have a cat today, but unfortunately, I learned that I was allergic to cats and over the past ten years I have tolerated cats until my allergy would send me home. My cat was amazing. He loved anyone that came into my home except my son-in-law who he would not give the time of day. I am convinced that pets can tell right away if a person is a dog or cat lover and shun the non-lovers. This book is for cat lovers.

This book offers such a lovely and insightful look into the world of cats. I enjoyed every moment of the read, especially since I, too, have a cat, whom I love more than anything in this world. I was even more happy to see a picture of a tuxedo cat at the beginning, as mine is also a tuxedo cat, which made my read even more personal and touching. It is truly incredible how we can hold so much love for these little creatures when we can't even talk to them. We don’t know what they think, but we have learned and memorized their movements, expressions, sounds, and we feel like we know them. I enjoyed the author’s perspective behind this. I also appreciated the historical perspective on cats' role in ancient Egypt - It makes perfect sense why all cats react to hearing Egyptian melodies. I also would like to thank the author for the tips on cat care; His love for cats really shines through. It's a must-read for any cat parent and lover!

I am not very fond of cats because they seem unpredictable. However, I commend the author for shedding light on how to better understand these fascinating creatures. I was surprised to learn that milk can be hazardous to them—that was an eye-opener for me. I'm curious to dive in and learn more about cats!
