I believe that every person in which we interact, and every experience we we live, helps shape us into who we are today. I love hearing stories about the lives of others and how they view the world because it allows us to learn about and see things that we may never experience on our own. :-) Today's #BOTD definitely sounds like one I will enjoy! Thank you so much for your review...it was really helpful!

Thanks for the excellent review. I also am a lover of autobiographies because these are honest revelations of the authors about their lives. They allow us to penetrate their hearts even their souls at times.

It certainly is important if an author is able to distinguish himself from others by having a unique writing style. His tale will definitely prove to be inspirational for anyone reading. Great review too!

I like positive books that give advice on growing up. It's somewhat like being given a short cut in making it in life. That's inspiring! Further, the values of bravery and honesty, are a good companion while in this winding road, that's life. It's a book I will want to read.
Thanks for your wonderful and helpful review.

Although this is probably not something I would choose to read, it's the author's unique perspective that has me interested! Thank you for sharing your review!

From your review, this book sounds like one I'd like to read, even though I am not a fan of non-fiction. Add to your review the writing I encountered in the sample, and the yellow light turns green. Thanks for an enlightening description of the book and for opening my own mind up to reading some non-fiction.

This seems like a charming book to read about how our experiences affect us in who we are in the future. Does our experience really define who we are today?
Thanks for the review.

I only meant to read a short sample of Mark Butler's story, but I immediately found myself drawn into the nitty gritty details of a young man's recollections of his day-to-day life in Texas. Is this the author's first book? If so, I find it very hard to believe! What a fantastic writing style. I plan on finishing it soon.
