I've always appreciated personal experience when reading this kind of book. It's true that many entrepreneurs start a successful business but then struggle to take it to the next level. Thank you for your informative review.

I am really sorry to say, but I have no interest whatsoever in discovering any of "Entrepreneurs' Secrets Revealed". Don't get me wrong, I know how important and respect their business is and what importance it has in economics, but it is not my direct specialty and, therefore, I prefer to pass this book despite its stellar reviews. Still, congratulations on BOTD!

Starting a business of any kind isn’t easy; it involves a lot of ups and downs, and I appreciate the author for putting together such valuable information. This is an informative book packed with practical tips for successfully running a business. I like that the book is written using simple language rather than difficult and ambiguous words. I can’t wait to dive in. This is a great review, congratulations to the author for being selected BOTD.

“Start. Scale. Exit. Repeat.” By Colin C. Campbell is a book written for people that decide to start a business of their own. Colin was asked to give a talk at the MIT masters of entrepreneurship program to explain how he had been so successful in starting his own businesses. Colin used his own experiences including his first attempt when the start was successful and then sales decreased, and he had to determine what was causing the sales drop. One needs to have an idea of what need they plan to satisfy when starting their own business. Then he needs to set the scale of the business since once growth takes off the business will need to grow within the scale established or expansion will be required. Exit is the next step if the business is doing well, and the entrepreneur decides to sell so he can profit from the business and then Repeat by doing it all again. Colin named the phenomenal success startups as unicorns because they are rare, but he has had a 46% success rate, like a baseball player that hits above .400 his results have been way above average. Following this guide does not guarantee success but this book will really benefit anyone that wants to start their own business since the success rate of small business has not been great over the past fifty years. Having majored in Marketing I really enjoyed the sample and I want to read the entire book. At age 72 I might be too old to start a business, but I could definitely help new entrepreneurs through the process.
