I prefer checkers over chess because it's simpler to learn. I have a chess board that I find intimidating to even learn how to play. Thank god that I downloaded this book because I can now get answers I'm looking for in becoming a beginner chess players. Congrats to the author for having the BOTD.

I feel like watching tutorials is better than reading a book. Nevertheless, I'm reading this book because I want to learn. I hope it help me so I won't have to waste my data watching videos on how to play.

This book is a valuable resource not only for novices but also experienced player. Practice is required in any sports. You can't just read to master chess. I don't know how to play chess. It has never caught my interest. So this won't be that interesting to me. Anyways, thank you for a comprehensive and informative review.

I've been playing chess since high school. At first, because of the title '...for beginners', I didn't think this book would be for me, but as you suggest that even experts could perfect their game from the strategies in this book, it's now going on my list. Thank you.

I have always been fascinated by the game of Chess. I also hold it in high esteem because I seem to believe without reservation that it is a game for mature minds and prestigious individuals. Don't sue me. I don't know why I believe so, possibly because I don't see it in the class of ludos, freecells, or poker.
I must say that coming across a book wholly dedicated to talking about Chess is a strange one to me personally. However, I'm immensely proud of the author for writing this. Of course, any book written to guide and help me improve my chess games or bag helpful strategies is wholly welcome. Chess Strategies for Beginners" by Eric H. Schuelke is undoubtedly a book that I'll sure be adding to my bookshelves. Maybe I'd have been biased too to rate it a five out of five, seeing as It was one of the games I've truly loved.
