Self help books are not on my list if genres to read. I'm sure the author, with a successful business, has many things to tell us. Congrats on the #BOTD.

This is definitely going to my reading list. I agree with Wes Berry that there are no short cuts in business and failure makes you stronger. Wonderful review.

FOUR stars out of FOUR!!!

This book is the ultimate self-help read for those who don't read self-help. The writing is simple and straightforward with a grandfatherly-hand-on-the-shoulder feel to it. It's honest, it doesn't tell you there is some mystical force of the universe out there that responds to the side of bed you woke up on. Most importantly, it tells you 'Of course, you can!'

For those who are interested in opening up their own businesses, it tells you how to cut your spending while you grow, how to utilise your potential (as corny as that sounds, you actually can), and the ever-important task of setting your goals and objectives and meeting them.

Wesley Berry, will give you a gentle, nice cruise down what you need to know and tell you horse-stories and poetry and memorable quotes along the way. Recommended reading for us compulsive fiction readers when we just want a break.
Life is so doggone short. And it's so doggone precious when we're able to live it.... - Wes Berry
The strength, the courage, the perseverance it takes to pick yourself up time and time again, to my mind at least, comes from having a good family and a good support group. - Wes Berry

I have been burned a couple times by self help books in business. But I think I would be willing to give it a shot!

Thank you Yolimari for this review. I don't usually read this type of books, but as I'm willing to start my own business, maybe I could use some of the author's advice "to take better care of all that little stuff".

Business sphere is hardly my area of expertise, so I would have little to none use with this book. But congrats on BOTD! I am sure it will be useful to some people.

:eusa-think: The title of this book interested me. By reading your review it seems the title would be an accurate choice. It looks like a book that gives you a lot to learn and think about. I like how you added in that " the author believes in the power of creative solutions and positive thinking. I also liked his ideas about vision boards" This intrigued me. Thanks for your review!

The title of the book; Big Things Have Small Beginnings by Wes Berry is so intriguing but unfortunately I don't fancy self help books. I will recommend it. Great review!

As you said, this book is for people in leadership positions. I am disabled/retired so a book like this has no use to me. So this is a book I would pass on. Thank you for your review.

Big things have small by Wes Berry

This is an inspiration book. Its true that the little things that we do will always lead us to success. And we need to be ambitious and determined. I believe that where there's determination nothing is too difficult to achieve.

Berry is opening the mind of his readers to what they are capable of achieving stemming from being ambitious enough to realize what they set out to do. He also let his readers know that ambitions can only be reached through hard work and staying with what one has started.

Self-help books are not really my thing, but I love that he's advocating hard work, creativity, and positive thinking. Corporate spaces can quickly become negative environments and follow old models of productivity. This book seems to have good priorities and helpful insights for those interested.

I like that the author focuses on the process instead of the end result. Great review.
