Finding A Job In Tough Times by Dr. Tim Johnson is a book that gives the reader a comprehensive guide in discovering one's personality. It also helps the reader create a plan that gears one to achieve his or her dreams. The book brings to light the expectations of employers towards employees and also helps the reader to build his or her resume from the questions asked. If one were to call this book a comprehensive guide for the expectant job seeker, one would not be far from the truth.

The book has a series of mini workbooks incorporated into it. Therein, Dr. Tim Johnson raises in-depth questions such as experiences one has been through, moments of rejection and the reactions to it. The questions help the reader unburden hidden issues via the questions asked. Also, included are vital points every individual ought to have as guides in building one's personality. These include re-defining yourself, re-defining your goals, re-examining the existing limitations around you, creating opportunities, learning how to never say 'no', and focus. Questions such as abilities and skills accumulated over the years were also asked.

In my opinion, the contents of this book are enough for any serious-minded individual to create his or resume, create an idea or concept, and should be able to decide whether he or she wishes to work for an employer or create his or her own establishment. I love the way the points raised were written as short notes. It went a long way in keeping the reader engaged without getting bored by the contents. The book was well-edited, and I found only one error. To read this book you will need a jotter or a notebook to answer the questions asked in the various workbook sections. These answers automatically make up a resume if answered honestly. Each chapter features a brief writeup before the workbook aspect. Every chapter has its workbook. Other important questions asked to include the course studied in school, and possible concerns employers could have when they take a look at your resume. Each workbook section helps the reader make an in-depth analysis that would eventually help in the discovery of hidden potentials. I found myself pondering deeply as I made efforts to answer the questions asked. The questions are indeed a great source for soul-searching.

I loved every content the book had to offer and disliked nothing about it.

I am rating the book four out of four stars. It's a wonderful writeup and the guidelines can be used by any job seeker irrespective of the course studied or career involved.

I am recommending the book to every job seeker. The book will come in handy as a useful tool in personality discovery, as well as resume creation.
