Finding A Job in Tough Times by Dr. Tim Johnson is an excellent work put together to aid people in search of job opportunities. The author uses a unique approach, where he structures the book in the form of lectures with simple exercises at the end of each topic. This engages the reader and helps one to better understand each concept in the book. From self evaluation to redefining careers and goals in life, the author leads you through a step by step guide to help you achieve success. He provides in depth information on each topic covered, even drawing examples from books like the Bible.

Furthermore, he draws a few examples from his own life experiences thus serving as a testimony to the words present in the pages of the book. The book also gives the reader a different outlook on life in general. This is because the knowledge gained from it can be applied to many areas and is not only limited to job seeking.

He not only seeks to help job seekers get a job, but also learn valuable lessons about life. From the book you’ll learn how to build friendships and also maintain a healthy relationship with your friends. He also covers topics like time management and planning which is very important. Such vital pieces of knowledge are not easily found in books. Based on the above, I give the book 4 out of 4 stars.

Do you find it hard to read without getting bored? No need to worry about that. Despite the wide range of topics covered in the book, the author does an amazing job keeping it short and precise. This helps people with a short attention span enjoy the book without losing interest. Furthermore, the exercises present in the book keep the readers' minds busy at all times.

The book has minimal errors and was a joy to read. It would best suit a wide range of people, From teenagers to adults. Teenagers mainly because it explains the importance of making a career choice at an early age and working towards achieving your goals in life. Adults on the other hand will also get a great deal of information and knowledge on how to start a career and also maintain a successful career for those that already have one.

In conclusion, the book is very informative and would most definitely help anyone who chooses to grab a copy.
