Just finished Killing For Peace ~ Living, Fighting and Dying in Vietnam by Garry Farrington. It's the story of young man drafted into the army during the height of the Vietnam war. A rifle platoon leader facing death almost daily along with his men, it is a page turner to the end. I found it compelling, poignant and often even humorous I can recommend this book to all. It gave me a better understanding of what men in combat experience and what toll serving our country can take. An e-book with photos the author's website (his name) along with Amazon has a sample chapters to read as well as a few pictures. I hope some of you are interested in the subject matter I found it to be a great read.

I read this book last year. What an incredible story filled with heartbreak, bravery, and humor all at once. I laughed at the humor and cried at the pain.
