[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "The Revealing of Daniel and Revelation" by Benjamin Holliday.]

The Revealing of Daniel and Revelation by Benjamin Holliday is a non-fiction book that explores the Biblical prophecies about the end times. The author discusses several verses from the books of Daniel and Revelation that offer insights about future events. The writer offers his interpretations of these verses, backing up his ideas with theological, logical, and historical arguments. Even though the content in the book is sophisticated, the language used is simple.

The writer begins the book by describing the prophecy in Daniel chapter 8, which discusses the coming of the Messiah and the antichrist. The writer offers his interpretation of the verse, parallelly giving a date in the future that he believes will be the end of the world. The author continues making points about the end times by using verses from Revelation. He interprets the verses from Revelation, offering possible meanings, as he believes the events described in Revelation are allegorical. In closing, the writer discusses the importance of maturity for Christians and he summarizes the book.

There were plenty of positive characteristics in the book. More specifically, the author thoroughly explained his opinion utilizing rational, logical, and theological arguments to justify his ideas. The references included at the end of the book are valuable, as a reader interested in the book can further research the topic if he/she wishes to. Also, the language used was simple and effective, helping the reader to comprehend the author’s points. What I liked most in the book was the fact that it was excellently structured, as it followed a coherent and cohesive flow, meaning that the reader could easily follow along with the writer’s line of reasoning.

What I disliked most in the book was the fact that the book contained a few grammatical and spelling errors, which undermined the author’s credibility. This means that the book should undergo another professional round of editing so that any errors can be located and removed.

The book is best suited for readers interested in end-time prophecies. The book will be enjoyed mostly by Christian readers since the author writes from a Christian perspective, offering Biblical references. This means that atheists and non-Christians will probably dislike the book.

All in all, I rate this book with 3 out of 4 stars. I did not give the book a perfect rating, due to the number of errors. Nonetheless, a lower rating would have been unfair, as the writer has created a logically structured book that thoroughly explores end-time prophecies.

There are a lot of prophecies in the Bible that talk about the end time. The book of Daniel was the first book to record these prophecies. The author was thoughtful to deal with this subject from the book where it was first talked about.

I find end time prophesies fascinating, so I will definitely read this book. There are so many different interpretations of Revelation. I tend to believe the events in the book of Revelation have already happened up to chapter 19 which is future. It just seems to line up with history. But I will read this book. Excellent review.

While I disagree with the the author on almost every point, I believe the author did his best to try to convert me to his point of view.
