The book Chronicles of Guy's Intradimensional Divine Encounters by Guy Juarez and, Co-author, Suzzan Babcock is a fascinating and interesting read. It talks about one man’s experience and struggles with beings that are supernatural and divine. Guy’s life did not start out easy and when he was very young he experienced things that no child should that would shape a good portion of his life. However, during his struggles, he learned that he was meant for something more and his life became all about finding out what that “more” was.

I started reading this book with a completely open mind and I found it to be a very compelling book. One thing that I liked about it was the way the chapters were separated based on each event. Some portions of this book were complicated and the way the chapters were separated made it all a little easier to take in and understand what was happening. Another aspect that I liked about the book is the overall tone of the book. It seemed to have an almost mystical quality to it with the different descriptive language used and how each situation was explained and tied together by the end of the book. Finally, I like how the authors acknowledged that many people would not believe the story because of many of the experiences. Despite that belief, they talked about their experiences and shared them with the world.

There is only one thing that I found confusing about this book and that is the portions of the story that are italicized. I know certain parts are people explaining first hand the things that are happening, but I found them a little hard to follow sometimes. There was a case or two that I did not understand until almost the end of the section who was talking and what they were talking about.

When evaluating my likes and dislikes I have to give it a 3 out of 4. The book was unique and I enjoyed reading about the whole experience and how it all came together in the end. I found the pictures a valuable part of the story and only made the book that much better. While the italic portions threw me off a little they in no way detracted from the story and there were only a few grammar issues that were very small. Overall it was a very compelling book and a real page-turner.

In the end, I would recommend this book to anyone 18 and up. There are many adult themes in this story that are of the sexual nature, so it is more appropriate for that age bracket. Throughout the story, there are no swear words, but the language used is, at times, very scientific and religious so it is best for a more adult crowd.

The book sounds interesting, however, I am not certain it's for me. The plot borders too much on the supernatural, but I prefer plots I can resonate with. Thanks for your review, though.

This sounds like an interesting one. I hope Guy discovered the 'more' he sought for. Nice review

I was just wondering why the book has no cover page... That would have made the book a bit catchy for people.
I think it's a nice read though.
Thanks for the review
