Review by chelsea_kay -- A Thousand Seeds of Joy
When asking the deep questions, you want answers from someone that has been to the depths. While most of us on this earth cannot claim to have experienced the endless sea, Ananda Karunesh invites us to share in the knowledge gathered by those who have. Earning four out of four stars, A Thousand Seeds of Joy offers insight accessible to both those just dipping their toes into the deep questions and those who have been asking these questions since childhood and never stopped.
In A Thousand Seeds of Joy, Ananda reveals not just the nature of his discussions with Laskhmi and Saraswati but the dialogue between him and the ascended goddesses. Rather than a dry regurgitation of the insights Ananda gleaned from his connection with Lakshmi and Saraswati, he brings you into the room to hear from them yourself. And the nature of this revelation is key; you feel as though you are sitting in the room, sipping tea and watching these chats unfold. Challenging narratives generally accepted regarding key characters in human spirituality (Eve's original sin, Sita's time with Ravana, and Mary Magdalene's role in Jesus' life), Lakshmi and Saraswati use their conversations with Ananda to open your eyes to the truth of human history and spirituality on earth.
Even the most challenging discussions in the book — what is primordial joy? how do you identify soul feelings? what are the stages of enlightenment? what role do the chakras play in all of this? — are presented in simple yet beautiful language. You can hear the voices of Lakshmi and Saraswati in your head, painting a picture of the opening of chakras, the development of their soul tribe, and the future for the divine feminine on earth. Even stories you may not familiar with, like the relationship between Buddha and Yasodhara, are explained and clarified in this text to demonstrate the important role of this connection on the human experience.
For those wondering about the next phase of human evolution, those seeking a deeper sense of spiritual awareness, or those curious about chakras and the masculine/feminine nature, A Thousand Seeds of Joy reveals a deeper level of spirituality and human nature than many other written works. Moreover, while the conversations build upon each other and a linear progression through the text is useful, this well-edited book also serves as a source you can continue to reference for inspiration and clarification on self-transformation or the wounded feminine and wounded masculine.
In times of disruption, insight from Ananda's conversations with these divine beings provide solace and hope in the future of humanity. Undoubtedly, further insight and grace await us when Ananda Karunesh shares his conversations with other ascended goddesses in the subsequent volumes of the Ascended Goddess Series.
