Define the truth & overcome it anyway by Louis Davis outlines the seven obstacles the author believes have hindered him from being financially successful earlier in his life. He details each hurdle and provides solutions based on his personal experience.

The start of this book is attributed to a realization that not one person in his family is a millionaire. His plan to remedy that was to figure out why and start changing his own reality. The author skilfully makes use of various Bible stories to relay his point about several aspects. He believes the main impediments over the years have been fear, doubt, and lack of trust, sacrifice, distractions, procrastination, and poor time management.

By writing this book and overcoming each obstacle by spelling it out and finding solutions within himself, he has turned his outlook around from negative to optimistic and confident.

This motivational book leaves room for the reader to discover their own faults and provides workable solutions to the many problems you could be facing when trying to be a success in your undertakings. With interactive questions and blank pages, you can spell out your apprehensions and you are encouraged to practice positive solutions.

I thoroughly enjoyed the personal injections of Davis’s experiences from a work and family perspective. It is a revelation when you learn that you are not the only person that has come across these issues in life, and with a little motivation and a lot of practice, you will be able to overcome your anxieties.

There are many inspirational and motivational books on the market. The standout for this book is its length. Davis manages to make his point in a mere 86 pages, which translates into a quick and easy afternoon read. I believe this was done on purpose to reiterate the point that we have limited time and should use it wisely.

Unfortunately, many spelling and grammar errors were not easy to overlook. It is clear the book has not undergone a bout of professional editing, and this will be required to ensure this book gains more popularity in this cutthroat market.

I applaud the author for writing this book in his spare time (sometimes, late into the night), whilst balancing his work and family life. The book contains no profanity or sexual content and can be a helpful tool for anyone trying to find balance and organization in their lives. I would not recommend it to readers that take offense to reference to Bible stories or the Christian faith.

There is potential for this book to score three stars once it has undergone a decent round of professional editing. For now, I would like to award this book a respectable 2 out of 4 stars.

This book is a motivational book,not just for those into pursuit in riches,but also pursuit in accomplishing goals,both short and long-term.Great review.

This is an insightful book, a guide to goal getting and not just financial freedom. Unfortunately, the editing is unprofessional. I hope the author cleans it up so that more people will read it. Thank you.
