Wisdom by Arun Mago seems to be a great little self help book. I'm a fan of reading this genre and excited to explore the author's break down of the themes in regards to our need for nature. After reading the review I wonder why someone would publish a book and not edit the pages for grammatical errors? I will probably read this one but I am skeptical nonetheless.

I am not a fan of motivational books, and will not easily pick one up to read. Yet I always hope there is an interested audience picking up useful tips.

In sum this book overall sounds intriguing and does have motivational And inspiring aspects to it. The author saying that we are trapped or being taken over by things such as a cell phone is accurate but it is common knowledge. Upon reading the sample provided we are to be “learning” more about humanity and what we are evolving to become. However I feel we already know about out growth and life as a whole. Growing up things like respect are practiced in families, Cell phones have everyone’s attention and we are trapped in our devices, but this is information we already know and shouldn’t come as a surprise when reading this.

I enjoy the review. Especially where you said "the author explains that humans today are trapped in boxes, so we should escape these boxes (e.g. cell phones, cars, offices) by connecting with nature." A true word or wisdom! However, I will prefer to wait until the final corrections are done to the book before I read it. It is nice, but I wouldn't enjoy anything boring.

The boxes that have entrapped us in the present time as listed by the author is really a difficult one to come out of, especially the mobile phone. Great review.

This nonfiction book shares the author's opinions on various topics. It talks about how we are trapped in metaphorical boxes, a premise that I find interesting.

The dull nature of this book, coupled with the plethora of grammatical errors, makes this book one to pass for me. Thanks for the honest review.

I think this would make a wonderful self-help and motivational book, so I'd have to ignore the faults and take a look at it. Congrats on BOTD

Although I don't usually read motivational self-help books, I like the fact that the author's tone is persuasive and argumentative. I'm worried about the poor editing, though. Thanks for your review!

I finished reading this book recently and I enjoyed it very much. My favorite thing about the book is the liberal use of ORIGINAL mnemonics. The author shared a number of his thoughts and philosophies that have made him the successful entrepreneur, investor, and family man that he is. This book is written from the heart. Thought it would be a great discussion starter for families with children. The book covers character building, life skills, family, and career. It is only 112 pages, so it is a quick read and definitely worth the time.
