Stop Being a F***ing Idiot by Orlando Winter

Post by Mune »

The book had me at the title, I was completely sunk after reading the back, dedication, and introduction. After chapter one, I was in love. The author feels like someone I would sit down and have a long conversation with. I truly enjoy reading a book that makes you feel as if you are sitting down and having a dead-on conversation on all the little nuances and quirks of life. This is the kind of stuff me and my husband sit around and talk about around a bonfire. The idiotic antics of people in this day and age are a viable rant and the straight forward, blunt points impressed upon the reader of this book perfectly encompasses such beliefs. Awesome job, awesome book, and an awesomely honest author. As expected by the title, there is a lot of cussing in this book. There is also an entire chapter of how cussing is highly overrated and only empowered by those that dislike it. I thought it was great.

This sounds like a great book! Based on the title and this review, I too would love to sit and talk with the author. The general idiocy of society is nothing short of amazing and it's always a great topic. I want to read this one.

Thank you. I have just started reviewing books after reading forever (since I was 5). I have a 600+ book library that sometimes pushed on 900. I love to read and now I am stuck at home for health reasons, so I might as well do something with the knowledge.
