Knowledge and Wisdom: Meaningful Life by Nges Elmer is a book designed to inspire the soul. A compilation of quotations about life, this book seeks to deliver wisdom and knowledge through thought-provoking sayings. These sayings were gathered over the author's lifetime, so it is essential to consider the time it took to make this work possible while reading it.

I liked the way chapters in this book are titled with a "Life Is" heading. Each one carries the theme of the book while being distinct and individual. From life being a struggle to life being the joy of recreation, the message of this book inspires one to reach for personal goals in every spectrum.

I enjoyed how this book shines a light on life, not just the word, but the essence of life itself. It offers insights into the beautiful concept of life and how to see the best things around us. Although realism is there, it is also filled with optimism. This aspect will appeal to a large part of the readership. This style of writing is enjoyable, and I found it to be what I liked most about this book.

The brief speeches are well-written and filled with meaning. All of the speeches and quotes reflected wisdom. Some of them are quotes from The Holy Bible; others are by well-known names such as Montaigne, Thomas Paine, Henry W. Longfellow, Donald Trump, and many others. There are even some anonymous authors.

It was interesting to read this book because, overall, there is a great sense of variety within its pages. This sense is due, in part, to the fact that it is a compilation, but it also is due to the varied subjects focused upon while remaining within the theme. One of my favorite quotes was, "You will never stub your toe standing still." I also appreciated that the author used a large font to make it easier for readers who struggle to see smaller print.

I could find nothing to dislike about this book. It seems professionally edited and formatted. I found only a few minor errors. It is an easy read. A reader can start in almost any section of the book without getting lost. For these numerous reasons, I am most happily rating it with 4 out of 4 stars. I could find no reason to rate it with less.

It will appeal most to people who enjoy reading collections of sayings, both new and old, that offer wisdom about life—it would be great to carry when traveling or as a coffee-table book. If you aren't into compilations, short sayings, or quotes from biblical teachings, this may not be the book for you.

Even though I don't read non fictional books, this one looks so appealing that I may read it, especially since it has positive and realistic quotes. It's inspiring and I think I could learn some things from it.
However, it would be more appealing to me if the quotes were his.
But I think the compilation is really worth reading.
Thanks for the great review!
