Review-Running for my Life by Lopez Lomong

Post by professors_wife »

When you can read a book that is a personal memoir of someone that has spent time at a refugee camp as a young boy and feel hope at the end of that book, you know its a good story. Lopez Lomong has suffered a lot of tragedy in his life but he has also felt redemption, will to survive, mercy, grace, triumph and everything in between. Personally I think that this book has and will move many people to action of some kind. It might just make you think, "What part can I play in someone's story?"

It is a very quick and easy read. Simple words with a powerful message fill these pages. The faith of a man who has been a long journey to where he is will encourage you wherever you are in life.
