I was particularly drawn to this book because of the short description that said it was written by a bereaved mother to share her pains, feelings and experiences over the death of her son in a bid to help other people going through similar trauma find healing and support. Having gone through a season of grief myself with a lot of questions unanswered, I decided to take a look into it and what I found was very soothing and enlightening.

Grief is real, no word is adequate enough to express the devastation and the feelings of anguish that surround it. However, whichever way it comes, either through the untimely loss of a loved one, a permanent disability, a terminal illness or countless other unforeseen circumstances that create a vacuum or keep someone battered and broken, it is important to seek help for restoration.

According to Sherine, understanding the different feelings associated with grief is the first step to recovery. If you are grieving and struggling with depression over the loss of a child, you will need to read this book for possible solutions.

I was a little curious about the connection between grief and the title of the book — The ultimate love, and it was indeed comforting when I found this statement, 'Grief is the last act of love we can give to those we love. Where there is deep grief, there was great love'

I couldn't find any fault or error while reading and so rate the book, 4 out of 4 stars. Anybody can read it, even though I will specially recommend it for those going through the hard times of grief to inspire their hearts as they walk through the journey of recovery to find healing and joy again.

Thumbs up to Sherine Anniruth for sharing her pains through grief and for giving hope to those going through same life experiences.
