Who has read this book?
Did you think that the book tries to help you understand the Nazi? and get you to pitty them? Because I know that that is what the book was criticized for.
But I felt like the author was simply trying to provide facts and try to explain something as horrible as what happened. I was not offended by the book and I do not feel like I pitty any of the people mentioned.
I think the author simply wanted people to understand that this could have happened in any country.
I think it is an important lesson.
