Winning the War on Cancer: The Epic Journey Towards a Natural Cure is a book written by Sylvie Beljanski, the daughter of the deceased scientist Mirko Beljanski, who searched and discovered natural ways to help heal cancerous cells but was opposed and persecuted by many entities.

Sylvie, in her book, explains the causes of cancer and its effects, then she links it with her father's discoveries and how effective they are in treating them. As well as the difficulties and challenges she faced in taking back her father's rights taken away from him, and making a place for the natural way of treatment in the medical industry.

Every disease must have a cure; this is one of the main lessons of this informative book. It is only that we have not come up with it yet, or it could be some hidden entities standing in humanity's way of doing so. This manifests itself in the case of Mirko Beljanski, whose research proved to be efficient against multiple types of cancer and immunity disorders, all through alternative methods.

The pharmaceutical industry did not welcome this for purely economic reasons and the book highlights this malicious form of corruption and greed that prioritizes profit over the lives of millions of people. Not only that, it drives the thought that maybe it isn't just cancer, but possibly various other diseases known to humankind. It is such a dangerous reality that is presented in the face of this book's reader, and for this same reason, I think it is one of the best books both informatively and narratively.

Sylvie also makes sure to back up her father's research with all the data needed, either through pictures, testimonies, or scientific papers. One of this book's themes that I found inspiring is the daughter's undying desire to continue her father's legacy and prove the worth of his discoveries to the whole world, even after his death. This was the main driving force that kept me invested in this book. Even after one's death, his life is not over yet thanks to their impact, ideas and loved ones.

There is nothing to complain about. The book is well-edited, the language used is understood even by people who have no scientific background, the linguistic style is smooth and fits the narrative very well and there is no profanity. Also, it went well with my personal beliefs which were always favoring the natural over the chemical. I can only rate such a quality work 4 out of 4 stars.
